Using the proven Specific Gravity (Archimedes) Method, the GK-300 calculates gold purity by measuring the sample's density. Unlike acid testing, which can damage jewelry, or X-ray fluorescence (XRF), which is expensive and complex, the GK-300 offers a fast, non-destructive, and cost-effective solution for samples weighing between 0.01g and 300g.
How It Works
The GK-300 determines purity through two simple steps:
1. Weigh the gold piece in the air (normal weighing).
2. Weigh the piece submerged in the water tank.
The internal computer instantly calculates the specific gravity and displays the Karat Value (e.g., 18K, 24K) and Purity Percentage. No calculations or charts are required!
