GK-300 is the basic model, suitable for gold and can measure the carat of gold specimens weighing between 0.001~ 300g.
GKS-3000 is the top of the line model, suitable for gold, silver and platinum with extended weight capacity of up to 3,000g.
GK-series gold testers can quickly, easily and accurately determine purity of precious metals and gold karat by two weighings (By measuring the Specific Gravity): one with the piece in a water tank, the other normally. An internal computer does all the calculations for you.
Precious Metal Tester GKS-3000 Gold /W Gold / Platinum Up to 3000g / 0.01 g Ingot, gold bar, statue up to 3kg. No need to cut or drill gold, but just check density, and distinguish immediately. Useful for checking scrap gold at a time as well.
