The ViscoQT KS-200 Intelligent Krebs Stormer Viscometer is the advanced digital evolution of the classic Stormer method. Designed strictly in accordance with ASTM D562, this instrument is the industry standard for measuring the viscosity of paints, coatings, and inks using the Krebs Unit (KU) scale.
Upgraded from the KS-100, the KS-200 features a constant-speed motor (200 RPM) and a built-in **Infrared Temperature Sensor**, allowing you to measure viscosity and sample temperature simultaneously—ensuring the highest level of repeatability in your quality control process.
⚠️ Important Note on cP Readings
While this unit displays Centipoise (cP), please note that cP readings from a Krebs Stormer Viscometer may not align with values from other viscometer types (e.g., Brookfield). This is due to the unique high-shear rate of the Krebs paddle spindle. The KU (Krebs Unit) is the primary standard for this test method.
